Who holds the metal?
The metal is held with SafeGold and is 100% insured. Lumos keeps a register of every bar and checks every day that the metal in the vault, plus metal on its way there, covers everything customers own.
Who owns the customer?
You do. Customers sign up in your app under your brand. We keep only what is needed to hold their metal and meet our obligations.
Who runs KYC?
You onboard and verify customers as you do today and send us their status. A customer can trade only after you have approved them.
How does money move?
Only between you and Lumos. You collect from your customers and pay out their sells. We send a statement every day and you settle the net amount on an agreed schedule.
Is Lumos licensed and certified?
Our licensing, Shariah certification and ISO 27001 certification are in progress. We will share documents with your compliance team as each is completed.
